Transportation
The company seeks to realise the dual benefits of reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions through shortening our supply lines and minimising non-vital journeys.
Resource Consumption
The Company maintains that part of its corporate environment strategy is to sustainable waste management and as such recognises its responsibilities to recycle materials wherever possible.
Recycling
The Company will take the necessary measures to identify and, where possible to eliminate and/or minimise any known or potentially harmful effects of its operations and activities on its employees, clients or the general public, and on the environment in general. Waste Disposal
The Company will minimise waste, especially hazardous waste, and whenever possibly recycle materials. We will dispose of all waste through safe and responsible methods.
Suppliers and Sub-contractors
The Company will work with our suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure they recognise and reduce the environmental impact of their products and transportation.
Staff
The Company will implement our policies through guidelines and staff training. In addition we will encourage all our employees to play an active role in achieving our environmental goals, not only in their day-to-day actions, but also with long-term ideas and suggestions
Commitment to Legislative And Regulatory Compliance
Environmental regulation, laws and codes of practice will be regarded as setting minimum standards of environmental performance.
Policy Review
The Company will conduct an annual review of its performance in implementing these principles and in complying with all applicable laws and regulations. The Board of Directors is committed to the implementation of this policy. |
