Here at TR Floor Systems we take our responsibility for the environment seriously, and pride ourselves on taking to steps to minimise the impact of our work on the environment.
The Company maintains that part of its corporate environment strategy is to sustainable waste management and as such recognises its responsibilities to recycle materials wherever possible.
All of our Ergoflor interlocking PVC tiles are manufactured using either virgin or recycled compound and at the end of their life the tiles are 100% re-cyclable and 100% re-usable
Post installation waste recycling scheme
A typical installation will normally result in a small percentage of the ordered material being left over. The compound of these materials is known and can be easily recycled for re-use.
It is the policy of TR Floor Systems to collect all post installation Ergoflor tile waste and granulate it for recycling.
Post consumer use waste recycling scheme
Increasingly customers are keen to see their flooring recycled at the end of life. This is not normally an option for most flooring materials, the majority of the waste being incinerated or sent to landfills. Ergoflor is 100% recyclable, at the end of its service life the tiles can be granulated and re-used to manufacture new tiles
TR Floor Systems guarantee to collect used Ergoflor tiles (over 50m2) and granulate them for recycling.
